Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County is a non-profit 501©3 organization dedicated to assisting law enforcement in solving crimes and locating wanted fugitives. Crime Stoppers works with the media to publicize unsolved crimes, takes anonymous tips from the public on unsolved crimes, distributes the tips to law enforcement for investigation, and pays cash rewards to tipsters whose information leads to an arrest and charges filed.
Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County has no paid employees, and is made up of 20 citizen volunteer board members and a program coordinator. Board members are responsible for fundraising for rewards, approving and paying rewards, and promoting the program to the community. MORE>>
